Hello! I’m Ollie Hoff.
I’m currently in my third year of university studying Games Art & Design in Norwich, United Kingdom. Art & design have always been a passion of mine and now in uni I’m looking at the design in video games which to me is a dream course. Not only do I design but I love to write. Since university I have taken a real liking to debating about video games, from the effect they have on the media, to the balance of Story vs Gameplay, all of it really intrigues me.
I am definitely more of a console gamer, with my current systems being; Xbox 360, Mac steam and recently I have really got into IOS games (iPhone & iPad). I have a varied like in platforms with my favorites being Racing sims, First-person shooters, Third-person Action/Adventure, Puzzle etc. I find it very hard to choice a ‘all-time fav game’ but some which stand out to me are: Mirrors Edge, Mass Effect 2, Jet Set Radio Future, Hitman: Blood Money, Mafia 2, Halo & GTA IV.
I feel very privileged and proud to be a part of the Zero1gaming team and really hope you enjoy my articles!
