The best-selling, well loved PS3 exclusive Uncharted has reportedly sold 3.8 million copies. It was announced today by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe that the PlayStation 3-exclusive Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception posted day-one global sales of a whopping 3.8 million copies. Released on November 1 in North America and November 2 in Europe, Uncharted 3 “has smashed sales expectations,” according to Sony.
Gamers eager for still more Uncharted fun won’t need to wait very long. Bend Studio will debut its take on the franchise when the PlayStation Vita launches next February with the handheld launch title Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The studio previously brought another PS3-exclusive series to the portable market with Resistance: Retribution for the PSP. Expect a review of Uncharted 3 posted on Sunday.
