With the Halo Combat:Evolved Anniversary hitting the shelves last week, Microsoft Studios have continued on from their Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 promotion made for Xbox Live Reward members and created one to coincide with the release of the new game.
It’s been reported that 7% of Xbox Live Reward members are actually Halo VIP’s and will be receiving this special bonus in their inbox in the very near future. What this is exactly, we do not know however, to honour the tenth birthday of Halo – the Halo players that have been battling against the Covenant as they attack human development will receive VIP exclusive badges. The badges are intended to be used on message boards and social networking sites offering the chance for Halo fans to really show off their accomplishments.
No doubt, more rewards shall be offered out, much like what Microsoft Studios have done with the recent Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 rewards that were getting handed out earlier this month so it’s possible that Halo fans will be seeing more rewards.
What’s your thoughts on this rewards scheme? Have you played Halo Anniversary yet? Let us know below by leaving a comment and remember to check back to Zero1Gaming for any more news on this.
