Gamers everywhere, lower your pitchforks. The war is finally over: Nintendo has released the official timeline for one of their most critically acclaimed series, the Legend of Zelda.
For folks who are not as acquainted with our tunic-wearing friend, the Legend of Zelda has always been known for creating confusion and controversy in the gaming world. There have been many theories over the actual storyline of the overall franchise; the Legend of Zelda is a subject of debate for many fans, both young and old.
In light of all of this controversy, the producers have confirmed the existence of a confidential document that connected all of the games. But even though such a document exists, it has never been officially revealed to the public. With multiple Links, Zeldas and Ganons running around Hyrule, Skyloft, Termina, etc, the entire timeline of Zelda can be confusing, making it a popular subject of debate for the series’ most hardcore fans.
However, it is now time to finally let Gorons be Gorons. Nintendo just recently released an 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Book Hyrule Historia in Japan, revealing the official timeline of Hyrule.
