It’s been announced today that EA is planning on shutting down even more servers for their titles – some of which even required a payed online pass for those who bought the game pre-owned.

Effective from April 13th, a total of 11 game servers are being shut down including games that haven’t been out on the market for very long either such as MMA which has only been out for 18 months.

EA have said that they will pull server support for titles when player support for that game dwindle below a certain point – what that ‘point’ is, we have no idea!

The list of titles that will loose their online multiplayer support as of April 13th are the following :

  • BOOM BLOX Bash Party for Wii
  • Burnout™ Revenge for Xbox 360
  • EA Create for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
  • EA Sports Active 2.0 for PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
  • EA Sports Active NFL Training Camp for Wii
  • FIFA 10 for PlayStation Portable and Wii
  • The Godfather™ II for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  • MMA for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  • Need for Speed™ ProStreet for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  • The Saboteur™ (loss of The Midnight Club access) for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  • Spare Parts for PlayStation 3 Xbox 360
