When the 3DS XL was announced last week, many people were shocked to see that Nintendo had not taken advantage of the updated hardware and fitted the much desired second circle pad, and it was pointed out quite early on that due to the increased size of the 3DS Xl that the current Circle Pad Pro would not fit on the new frame.
But fear not! Nintendo has heard your cries and it is now being reported by Famitsu that the Big N has an updated version of the Circle Pad Pro ready and waiting to be released later this year.
Some may argue that the issue of a secondary circle pad should have been better addressed by Nintendo now that more and more games are starting to rely on the additional attachment. Some may even go as far to say that it’s clearly a way of making a little bit of extra cash on the side, but whatever your thoughts on the matter the Circle Pad Pro XL is coming and I mean, it’s not as if Nintendo are alone in creating a product that should have been built in……Xbox 360 wirelesss adaptor anyone…….
