To somewhat compensate for the lack of announcement from Valve about Half Life 3, they’ve released a free update for the popular puzzle game Portal 2 which will allows co-op test chambers to be built.
Since the launch of Steam’s Workshop in May, over 170,000 single-player Portal 2 test chambers have been created, shared and no doubt raised a bit of a head scratcher with people.
The patch for the co-op test chambers will also include a quick play feature that will allow the player to see the top-rated user-made maps in various categories.
As an extra cherry or two onto this cake, Valve are also offering gift owners off the game a 75% of Portal 2 voucher to offer to a friend!
