Tate Multimedia today announced Urban Trial Freestyle. An action bike racing game for PlayStation®Network, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. The multi-platform title will launch worldwide in early 2013.
Packed with features and gravity defying stunts, Urban Trial Freestyle™ brings innovation to the hugely popular action bike racer genre and takes it to new dimensions.
Urban Trial Freestyle’s™ 2D freestyle MotoX/TrialX riding is spread across five living 3D urban environments, each full of contorted terrain and ramps, background animations, moving objects and a level design marked by a decidedly witty, acerbic edge.
Urban Trial Freestyle™ challenges players to push their risk-taking to the absolute limits to deliver maximum stunt rewards. The game’s nonstop action is accompanied by a host of features including trophies, multiple game modes, leader boards, rider and bike customisation, as well as other options.
With urban detailed graphics and an innovative physics engine fine-tuned for fun pick-up and play, the game has been specifically engineered to get the most out of each platform.
Urban Trial Freestyle™ has been greatly influenced with the support of Julien Dupont. Julien is known around the world for his unique street style and technique, mashing down barriers and setting new records.
Sébastien Chirpaz Tate Multimedia’s Marketing Director said, “Urban Trial Freestyle™ has been developed specifically to take the genre further, packing in more fun, more stunts and more features. We look forward to releasing more details and exciting game announcements over the next few months.”
